A Matter of Life and Death

Not again! Another suicide because the colleges won’t see beyond cut-off marks!
Either we need to teach our youth how to cope with these pressures or we need to do something about this over-emphasis on marks.
To begin with, we must stop judging people by the marks they get at school or college. Everyone seems to be biased against those who are unable to score highly in academics.
Only when people stop bothering about marks will this spate of such suicides reduce.
